Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: July 21, 2020

THE FACT THAT A PERSON HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED DOES NOT IMPLY THAT HE OR SHE IS GUILTY. ALL PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.

On Wednesday July 1, 2020 Giancarlo Distefano (Age 19) and Rahul Kumar (Age 18) both of Flemington, NJ were arrested by Sgt. Rob Landolina for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests took place at 12:00 am near the pool in the Townsend development.

On Wednesday July 1, 2020 at 3:15 pm Yasmin A Rega (Age 64) of Lebanon, NJ was arrested by Officer Anthony Moreno for Shoplifting $327.00 worth of merchandise from Walmart.

On Tuesday July 7, 2020 Inocente Daniel Garcia Torres was arrested by Det. Meg Hammond for illegally dumping. Torres was illegally dumping landscaping material/ trash in the dumpster located and owned at Atlantic Spring. The cost to empty the dumpster was $600.00.

On Saturday July, 11, 2020 at 3:00 pm Sgt. Landolina responded to River Road near Case Blvd. for a motorcyclist that was on the ground. Sgt. Landolina checked on the rider who was identified as Brent J. Foster (Age 34) of Flemington, NJ. Sgt. Landolina discovered a partially consumed bottle of vodka. Mr. Foster performed Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed. Sgt. Landolina arrested Foster for Driving While Intoxicated. He was also charged with resisting arrest for pulling away from Sgt. Landolina and attempting to flee the scene. No one was injured during the arrest.
