Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: September 11, 2020

THE FACT THAT A PERSON HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED DOES NOT IMPLY THAT HE OR SHE IS GUILTY. ALL PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.

On Friday September 4, 2020 at 5:30 pm Charles J. Colt Jr. (Age 55) of Flemington, NJ was arrested by Sgt. Robert Landolina for Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution. The vehicle Colt was operating was stopped near Rt 31 and Health Quest for pulling a trailer that had an expired registration. Colt then provided a false name to the officer because his driving privilege was suspended.

On Sunday September 6, 2020 at 10:27 pm police responded to 579 Route 12 for a single vehicle crash. The vehicle left the scene prior to police arriving. Officer Anthony Moreno located a vehicle matching the description pulling into a driveway on Route 12. The driver, Antonio Hernandez-Hernandez (Age 31) of Flemington, NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

On Monday September 7, 2020 at 2:04 am Brittany Pagan (Age 30) of Hillsborough, NJ was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. The vehicle being operated by Pagan was stopped on Route 523/ Dayton Road for not proceeding through the intersection after being stopped for a prolonged amount of time. Cpl. Aaron Roth made the arrest.
